This course is NOT recommended for beginners; especially new slide players

This is an Intermediate to Advanced-level course. You don't have to be great at slide to take this course, but to get the most out of it you should at least have a decent grasp on the fundamentals of "regular" slide playing. This course only covers fundamental technique concepts that directly pertain to fretting behind the slide.

This course is entirely taught in Standard Tuning

I debated long and hard on whether to include Open Tunings in the course, but ultimately decided against it. I have much more experience using fretting behind the slide in Standard, and therefore can provide a more informed, higher-quality course by sticking to what I know. That being said, even if you're primarily an Open Tuning slide player, you still absolutely CAN benefit from this course, because all of the technique concepts we cover WILL apply to any tuning. It'll just be up to you to transfer these techniques to the scale/chord shapes of your desired tunings.
